There is simply nothing like the feeling of walking into a room where the air itself seems warmed by the smell of peppermint. We love this feeling, and on days when there’s peppermint in the lab people seem to be genuinely in a better mood. So, we decided to turn that feeling into a candle.

Bergamot is bright and invigorating, something truly unique even amongst the crowded citrus family. It is the perfect pair to so many other fragrances, imagine it as the most friendly person you’ve ever met. For this reason you’ll find bergamot in many of our products, it’s a personal favorite of ours, but only now have we given it a chance to truly shine.

Anytime we mention using black pepper as a fragrance, people lift an eyebrow. When they smell it, their eyes go wide and they smile, it happens every time. Black pepper is surprisingly light and refreshing at first, but then gives way to a subtle yet extremely present spiciness. Words truly aren’t meant for capturing scent though, so if you’d like to be surprised, you’ll just have to smell it yourself.

We sampled dozens of lavender variants before settling on the blend in this candle. Lavender may be one of the most common fragrances around, but when it’s done right, with thought and care (and of course real lavender), you’ll know the difference.
